welcome to a glimpse of my work and my life.

My East Coast Family

My East Coast Family

Meet my East Coast family.  Scott, Amanda, James, and Abigail…one of the sweetest families on the planet…seriously.  I don’t think there are many people who wouldn’t say the exact same thing.  I learn so much from this family every single day.  Their caring, happy spirits are infectious.  The love Scott and Amanda have for each other is truly amazing.  Scott wears his love for Amanda on his sleeve, never hiding how much he adores her.  Abigail is my feisty little love, and James is a wise old sole who surprises me with his 9 year old wisdom.

I met Amanda seven years ago and we quickly became friends.  Over the years she has morphed into not only one of my closest friends but another sister to me.  Scott, poor guy, then had to adopt me as his little sister.:)

We hit a boatyard in South Kingstown for their family photo shoot and had SO much fun exploring all the New England sites.  This fishing village had it all, including a giant American flag which was perfectly fitting for the cowboy boots the family was sporting.  (I may have had a tiny influence when it comes to the boots…ok more like pressure I admit it.)

I am so thankful they let me and my girls into their lives and have provided me both support and a safe haven away from my Midwest roots.
